The Best Things to do This Summer

In our opinion, the best thing about the beach is that it has a little something for everyone, no matter what your interests are. Are you a thrill seeker? Surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving are made for you. Like to stay active? Go for a swim or play some beach volleyball. Prefer to conserve your energy? You can always bask in the sun or barbeque with friends and family. Whatever you choose to do, it’s a great opportunity to add a little more beachy flair to your style with lightweight fabrics and funky tropical prints.

With long days and clear skies, summer is the perfect time to head out to the golf course. Scratch golfers, social golfers, and novice golfers alike can all enjoy a pleasant day at the driving range or on the course (or, for some of us, on the minigolf course). And as we all know, the golf course is just the place to add a little more color to your wardrobe. Try standing out on the course in a bright pastel polo.

Isn’t it great to enjoy a night out without having to carry that heavy winter parka along with you? If you’re staying close to home for the summer, you can still let loose on a night out with friends or family. But just because you’re leaving the scarf and coat at home doesn’t mean you can’t still accessorize. Try switching out the heavy winter accessories for a slick leather belt—the perfect finishing touch to any look.

Not in the mood for a night out? You can always spend a day out at the ballpark cheering on your local team. Even if your team isn’t the best, you’ll still have a great time hanging out with your crew with a cold beer and a hot dog. But make sure to stay cool—dressing too warmly is a recipe to be miserable under the hot sun. Try a lightweight cotton T-shirt in your team’s colors to show your spirit and stay fresh. Just remember to wear your sunscreen. A farmer’s tan is not one of summer 2022’s hottest styles.
